About Brian Oerth

I spent 18 years in footwear from the factory floor up, not from a spreadsheet. I started in China in 2008, worked through factory operations, product development, and supplier management, then ran quality assurance for Steve Madden across China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Mexico, overseeing $100M+ in annual production across 20+ factory partners.

Today I run Redbridge Trading Solutions, a Miami based footwear sourcing and quality assurance firm. The problem I solve is simple: brands want to reduce dependence on China, but moving production only works if quality, compliance, and development capability move with it.

How I work with brands

India. Exclusive partnership with a 45 year factory network, vetted leather footwear factories, LWG Gold Rated tannery sourcing.

Europe. Established Portuguese production for premium leather programs.

Quality assurance. Factory audits, AQL inspection programs, defect analysis, and TechStep QC, an AI powered defect detection platform in beta.
